1974 Honda CB

Description

This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION priced for quick sale. Offered for sale is this rare, highly collectible, and exceptionally well maintained 1974 Honda CB350F (the last year of limited production) in original/unrestored condition. I used a stock photo as my lead because I didn't want anyone to think it didn't come with the original pipes, which are not currently installed. It comes with the four original mufflers in excellent condition, with the only faults being a patch near the joint between the head pipe and the muffler on three pipes (see pics: two aren’t visible when the pipes are installed and the other is only slightly visible) and three dings on the right side lower muffler. Other than that, they're close to perfect. The pipes were removed by the previous owner because he preferred the sound produced by the MAC 4-into-1 muffler currently on the bike. I did not reinstall the original pipes, as the next owner may prefer to continue using the 4-into-1 system. This beautiful bike has only 4,128 original miles on it. Its unique "Glory Blue Black Metallic" paint scheme (only available in 1974) is the most sought-after of Honda's iconic 3 year only production of CB350Fs (1972-1974). This bike is in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition.
Each carb was disassembled for ultrasonic cleaning and rebuilding. The bike starts, runs, and shifts flawlessly.
Fuel Tank is clear and clean and currently filled with non-ethanol gas.
Oil (Valvoline motorcycle-specific 10W-40) and filter changed in March 2021.
New DURO tires installed with new innertubes and rim strips. They currently have logged less than 100 miles. The rims are in outstanding condition.
All electrics function as designed while a"DynaTec" Dyna S Ignition system was installed.
The bike has a recently installed new OEM Front Brake Master Cylinder and new Upper and Lower Brake Hoses. Caliper components were disassembled prior to an extensive rebuild. Original Brake Piston seal replaced with NOS Honda Brake Piston Seal during reassembly.
Rear Brake Assembly was recently removed, disassembled, inspected, cleaned/serviced, reassembled, reinstalled and correctly adjusted.
Chrome components are in excellent condition throughout.
Paint is all original and in exceptional condition. It does have one very small rock chip (pencil eraser size) on the right side of the gas tank (you have to look closely to even see it; it is in the closeup photo just up and to the right of the knuckle on the index finger of my left hand).
Seat is original with no splits. tears or seam separations.
Forks have been serviced with MOTUL 10W Fork Oil.
Chain (530-96) was removed, thoroughly cleaned and reinstalled after a complete lubrication. Original 17/38 Sprockets show no discernable wear patterns.
Extreme PowerSports 12v/12AH Battery installed in August 2020. Battery Tender "Pig Tail" will remain in place when sold.
The kill switch recently malfunctioned, so I had a reconditioned concours quality (OEM switch with all new wires and connectors) kill/electric start/headlight switch installed @ 0.
The original Owner's Manual and Tool Kit are included.
