1976 Jaguar XJ6 SEDAN

Description

This is my 76 Jag- XJ6, have had 5 Jags. Bought in 2017, the car had been modified in 1990 in California. Previous owner put a Chevy 350 with Quadra jet 4 bbl carburetor, and TH350 automatic transmission, drove it for number of years. I wanted to swap it to LS engine, as I did with my 55 chevy 3100 truck, but just never got around to do it. It is time to take out of the garage and let someone else do this project. I took all of the carpet out, the old AC system, and have all the trims for the interior, the only thing that is needed are the following;
1. Been shut down for 3.5 years, car doesn't start,
2. put a new carpet and re- do 1 door panel- all other 3 door panels are very good.
3. Does NOT have an AC system- took it all out.
4. Tires are very old, but still holding pressure, the spare tire is brand NEW- although from 1997.
5. Dual gas tanks lines are all in very good shape, ( one tank does leak- passenger side, the drivers side is good),  and fuel pump works.
6. Exterior body has no rust, ONLY 2 very small spots in trunk of car.
7. Driver side has one long scar on the bottom but it was done when towing the car, very small damage.
8. Dashboard does need to be changed, the trim wood has cracked in different places.
9. Seats are all good, have all the inside trim pieces- just need to assemble- when putting the new carpet.
