Antique Fraternal Order Of Eastern Star Stenciled Tin Lantern, Box Lodge 138. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. 19th century fraternal lantern that was also used as a ballot box. The Pass. Order of the Eastern Star lodge no. 138. Black tin with gold stencil. Plastic red Star has breaks and protective interior glass is broken and gone, so at this time I would not put a candle inside but a battery op light works fine. Star shines a deep red. Came from a Massachusetts estate. 7.5” tall by 7” by 4”. Rust and wear but still displays well for an early fraternal piece.
