    This is a an extremely rare and antique electric motor for scientific instrument (for instance used in the first Boulitte electrocardiograph). Made by Boulitte in Paris, France. Circa 1918. For 220 volts (AC). Very well preserved with all original parts and working. This amazing device has a wooden base and an original carbon electric bulb with metal arc that works as a resistance and bronze parts. It has a very sophisticated automatic centrifugal switch for speed control placed in the axis between the electric motor and a mechanism with three size pulley (visible and protected by transparent paper - i removed it in some pictures and in the video to show how it works clearly and to avoid any reflex).
    Really exceptional and collectable device with a wonderful steampunk looking. Measures including wooden base are: Tall: 16 centimeters. Wide: 44 centimeters. Depth: 27 centimeters.
