Dated & Signed 1877 Engraved Metal Boot SPUR Wheel w/ Leather Strap & Chain

Description

Very old Western riding boot spur.
Dated 1877 and signed PA and BG(C?).
It has a movable spiked wheel.
Still attached to leather strap.
Chain is broken but still there in two pieces.
One side--the outside--of the metal spur
is engraved.
The opposite side facing the horse is not.
In very good condition for its age.

who loved the American Southwest in his youth
and collected old South Western items throughout his lifetime.
