    Description

This is a very old, single antique spur that dates somewhere in the 1800s. It is a hand-forged large spur that probably came out of Texas or Mexico. It has a 10-pointed star that is in good condition. It has one of the original mounts that attaches to the leather strap. The spur has a little bit of file work. It measures 5.75" long and 3.25" across. The star is 2.5" in diameter. It is quite heavy and weighs 12 oz. I can't give an exact date but I'd think mid-1800s. See my eBay for another large western spur.
