This is a pair of new blued steel
Western 3/4 inch wide band 12 N Klapper Neck spurs made in the USA by Sliester in Auberry, CA.   The spurs feature  2-1/2 inch long shanks 1-1/4 inch diameter six point blunt rowels.  The inside of the heels are marked with the maker's mark Sliester Auberry CA USA.  The size of the spurs is 6 inches total length with 3/4 inch wide bands and inside measurements 3-1/2 inches wide by 3-1/2 inches long.
Sliester came out with their spur line in 1994to meet the needs of a quality production spur made in the U.S.A.  Althoug these spurs are considered blued steel, they are more of a grey black in color and will rust over time.  Every spur buyer has a different size boot, as well as every boot manufacturer has their own way of making their heels.  Sliester spurs are adjustable and are preset at the factory for the most commonly used boot and size.  Sliester spurs come with a special rowel pin that makes changing rowels easy.
