Lighting System
This Norman P40/40 Power Supply is in excellent condition. The P40/40 is a 4000 w-s flash power supply, divided into two channels with 2000 w-s each, both with two lamphead connectors and with its own full/half (2000/1000) control switch. If all 4000 w-s is desired from a single light, the Norman LH4000 dual-cable lamphead (not included with this system) can be used. This provides almost one stop additional light than one lamphead at 2000 w-s, with an identical flash duration (1/275 second).
The LH2400 lampheads are
compatible with all Series 900 power supplies, including the P800D, P1250, P2000D, P2000X, P4000, P12/12, P20/20, P24/24, P40/40, D12, and D24. The LH2400B lampheads include a blower for use with light modifiers that restrict airflow, such as a softbox, grid, diffusion dome, filters, and gels.These lampheads include a flashtube rated at 2500 w-s, 250 watt modeling lamp, 20' cable and friction float stand adapter.
