    Description

    Rosenthal porcelain Borzoi Afghan dogs designed by F. Heidenreich in 1936. The name of the artist (F. Heidenreich) is impressed on the base, just below the standing dog's back legs. It is marked Rosenthal on the underside.
    It measures approximately 5 1/4" tall x 7 1/2" long x 5 3/4" wide. It is in good condition: no chips, cracks or crazing--except for a very tiny rough spot on the end of the submissive dogs right ear (I am not sure if it was a manufacture mistake or later, as it does not affect the integrity of the piece).
