    SPANISH COLONIAL SINGLE MOUNTED SINGLE SPUR 1790-1830 #bas11
    Spanish colonial single spur with engraved brass inlay, 1790 - 1830.  Hand engraved brass inlay on the outside heel band, rounded band on the inside.  The shank is 2" long with a slight drop and small rounded chap guard.  Nice hand forged 1  1/2" rowel.  This spur is working itself toward the California style.  From the Ricky Henson collection.
