SPANISH COLONIAL SINGLE SPUR, GOLD INLAYS, 1720--1760 #bas7
1720 to 1760 Spanish colonial single spur with gold inlays.  Highly detailed early spur with lots of deep chasing and hand engraving.  There are what appears to be gold inlays on the top of the heel bands.  The shank is 2 1/2" long with a stylized lion on the top which is typical for this time period.  The rowel is 2 1/2" with 8 points.  The rondel is pointed and engraved.  Retains the original heel bands.   From the Ricky Henson collection.
