Speedotron Brown Line Head MW3U

Description

The Brown Line was the budget line of high power studio flashes from Speedotron. The MW3U was designed as an umbrella light source that is small and portable. The flash tube can handle 400WS. The reflector is fixed, non-interchangeable, so it does not accept light modifiers that attach directly. The beam is quite broad, so it could work as a background light or general utility light.
It works great with my D802 power unit set to half power (400WS). Compared with shoe-mount flashes, this is a LOT of light.
150 Watt quartz-halogen modelling lamp is included. Cable is 19.5 ft long. Mounts on 5/8 inch stand. Has umbrella mount.
Age:
The MW3U was discontinued years ago, but it still works fine. Some people might call it legacy or historic (= old).
Condition:
Cosmetically, condition is excellent, almost like new. I've had it for years but haven't used it much. I have tried to show the condition in the photos.
