Summary:
Bought this new Tuff-Stuff mini starter for my 1985 Corvette to replace a (supposed) high torque mini-starter I bought at a huge vendor at a car show two years ago. Old one started dragging within a year with less than 1,500 miles, at which point, I considered it unreliable. I tossed it and installed the Tuff-Stuff recently and what a difference! We'll see how long it lasts but it immediately spins so much faster; the car starts so much quicker. Only con is that, like all mini-starters that I've seen, the solenoid connection is a flimsy 1/4" push-on connector. Should provide a screw-on connection on something this important. It ain't a dang 4 ohm speaker. Hit a decent size tree limb and it's likely to jerk the wire off the plug.

Return Policy
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If within 60 days after you receive your shipment and you are not satisfied, you may return the item for a refund. Refunds will be processed (1-2) days after the item is received by Speedway. All returned merchandise must be in original factory condition with no modifications or alterations. A restocking fee up to 15% may be applied if items are not in new condition.
Returned merchandise must include all packaging materials, warranty cards, manuals, and accessories. If the items being returned need to be repackaged, there will be a repacking charge.
