Here is a great pair of double mounted Canon City Prison made spurs. They have unusual brass mountings with Canon City style engraving. If you are looking for an early and unusual pair of Canon City spurs, this is a good chance. They come with old, basket weave stamped leathers which appear to have been with the spurs a very long time.MAKER:
Unmarked but attributed as Canyon City Prison made.
APPROX. AGE:
Circa early 1900s.
SIZE: The heel opening is approx. 3-1/4 inches. The heel bands are 7/8 inches wide and the shanks are 3-3/8 inches long (including the rowels).
CONDITION: Good for its age, some wear expected. Please look closely at the pictures as they are an important part of our description and are hereby incorporated into the description, specifically with regards to condition.
