Vintage 1950s SunMaster Crank Tilt Patio Umbrella 7.5-8ft Hawaii Trader Vics

I have never seen another of these old 1950s SunMaster of California Crank Tilt Patio Umbrellas, since i was growing up in Orange County California in the 1950s and 1960s and I doubt you will either.  This is in miraculously good physical condition, with only some top color fading in folds (see photo) from having been stored in a shed with a fiberglass roof in Puget sound home (not real sunny), but the vinyl is still very supple.  One spoke is missing a small brad to attach it to the umbrella. You will have to provide a bottom pole to hold it up.  What I am selling is just the actual umbrella part, not bottom weight or bottom pole.  The only REAL wrong thing with it is that I managed to break the rope that connects the crank to the umbrella pully above and it will have to be re-strung.  I have no idea how to do it, nor do i have the inclination to try.  We just push it up and put a piece of painters tape around the pole when we want to use it and that holds it in place and keeps it from slipping down.  You can still crank the angle.  It has been several years since we have used it, actually.  We live in Washington state, for pete's sake!   It measures 7.5-8ft in diameter, is 72 inches, tip to top and has a Hawaiian surfer,  Trader Vics, Tiki Bar, Polynesian vibe. The underside is very vibrant and shows ocean and sky, beaches, palm trees and wave riding.  Please refer to the photos for details and good luck.  You WILL be the only one in your town/county/state to own one of these, i would almost bet money.  Hence, it ain't cheap, but if you are a true, blue mid-century fanatic, you will find it worth as much as a common lamp or chair.  Take a chance.  You only live once and I am pretty sure they don't have one of these where we will all eventually be going.  It will be cool with your pool.........
NOTE: I am counting on this calculated shipping thing to work.  It doesn't take into account the 15% Ebay takes out of it, but that is the cost of doing business with them, I guess.  Lose money on every shipping charge...
