VTG Masonic Order of The Eastern Star Fraternal Pin #9
As pictured. I think this pin is the oldest of the group...just my opinion.
This pin is detailed Rhinestone Circle with a center
dangling e
nameled Eastern Star. The star has some wear.
Unsigned on the reverse.
The last photograph is from them all displayed as I purchased them...HOWEVER, they are being sold
separately
as the photo is for viewing the collection up for sale.
FYI The fraternal jewelry up for auction or in my ebay store came from a local estate of a Worthy Matron member and was involved various Masonic organizations. I know very little about these various organizations but I know a lot of the little emblems mean something specific so please look closely at the pictures to make sure it is what you want to purchase.

Worthy Matron – Presiding Officer GAVEL
Worthy Patron – a Master Mason who provides general supervision SQUARE and COMPASSES
Associate Matron – assumes the duties of the Worthy Matron in the absence of that officer EFFULGENT SUN
Associate Patron – assumes the duties of the Worthy Patron in the absence of that officer STAR
Secretary – takes care of all correspondence and minutes CROSSED PENS
Treasurer – takes care of monies of the Chapter CROSSED KEYS
Conductress – Leads visitors and initiations. SCROLL AND BATON
Associate Conductress – Prepares candidates for initiation, assists the conductress with introductions and handles the ballot box.
BATON
Chaplain – leads the Chapter in prayer OPEN BIBLE
Marshal – presents the Flag and leads in all ceremonies Single CROSSED BATONS
Organist – provides music for the meetings LYRE
Adah – Shares the lesson of Duty of Obedience to the will of God SWORD AND VEIL
Ruth – Shares the lesson of Honor and Justice SHEAF
Esther – Shares the lesson of Loyalty to Family and Friends CROWN AND SCEPTER
Martha – Shares the lesson of Faith and Trust in God and Everlasting Life BROKEN COLUMN
Electa – Shares the lesson of Charity and Hospitality CUP
Warder – Sits next to the door inside the meeting room, to make sure those that enter the chapter room are members of the Order. DOVE
